Hosted by Old St. Augustine Village, a component of the Daytona Museum of Arts and Sciences, a small group of citizens gathered to see Carrie Johnson, Thomas Jackson, and Gerald Eubanks reenact the reading of President Abraham Lincoln’s Emancipation Proclamation.
